1. Gibson’s Golden Honey

Honey is definitely my choice of sweetener and honestly, I have never tasted honey this good! I have been sampling the different honey available out here in CA and was seriously blown away by the taste of Gibson’s Golden “Wildflower Honey” which also happens to come from Santa Rosa where we recently rode the Wine Country Century Ride. If you are in Northern CA, you can find this brand at a Whole Foods Market.

2. Reebok Nano and Cyclone Speed Rope

Okay, so by now most of you know that I am CrossFit obsessed which might seem funny coming from a sweet little yogini but the truth is, as we all age, the benefit of weight bearing exercise becomes crucial for maintaining healthy bones and helping to prevent osteoporosis. Aside from that, I just love my CrossFit community out here at San Mateo Team Elite and shown above are two of my most treasured accessories. The Nano Reebok shoe is SO comfortable with great grip and the Cyclone Speed Rope is a must especially if you are 5’3″ and at a gym where all the jump ropes are for larger people! Having your own jump rope is a luxury and makes double unders a lot easier! Even cooler, you can customize your Nano Reeboks and your Cyclone Speed Rope!

3. Wild Planet Wild Sardines

Alright, I know what most of you are thinking, ‘eeeew, gross!’ Well, me too but these aren’t for me. I feed these omega 3 powerhouses to our dogs once a week and they gobble them up like candy while I hold my nose. One day I hope to be as open as my dogs as I know that I too could benefit from eating them!

“Once for ounce Wild Planet Sardines provide more calcium and phosphorous than milk, more iron than spinach, more potassium than coconut water and bananas and as much protein as steak. One can of Wild Planet sardines contains 313mg EPA and 688mg DHA Omega 3 and is an ample source of Vitamin B12, Vitamin D and selenium.

Sardines contain Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), a nutrient found in the bodies cells and believed to have antioxidant and immune system boosting properties.”

Yup, I should be eating them too!
