I’m not a huge fan of stretching and sometimes get bored with slower pace yoga classes, but as a runner it is super important to stretch. With my first half marathon coming up in two weeks, I’ve been trying to make a conscious effort to hit up Bikram Brickell. I started taking Bikram a little over a year ago and it has become an important part of my life. I never lose attention in this 90-minute class because we do 26 postures twice and don’t keep repeating the same cycle over and over again, like vinyasa classes. Whenever I leave the class I’m drenched in sweat and feeling great!
Mario Badescu Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 17
Living in tropical weather year-round can definitely take a toll on your skin so I never leave the house without – at least- an SPF moisturizer on my face. Mario Badescu is incredible and I always pick up a bottle of it when I’m home in Newport, R.I. at the Coastal Kitchen Ladies’ favorite beauty boutique – The Apothecary. It goes on your skin very lightly, is scent free – which I love – and it’s made in the USA!
Annie’s Gluten Free Rice Shells & Creamy White Cheddar
I don’t know about you, but growing up in the Ferguson household, Annie’s Shells were a dinnertime staple, so you can imagine my excitement when I found a gluten free alternative to the favorite. These shells are made with Rice Pasta and taste almost identical to the real stuff. On the back it even gives directions on how to make a tangy version by swapping out milk for plain Greek yogurt.
Have a great weekend!
